ISD Cyber would like to congratulate Yvonne Sears on achieving the designation of Fellow of Information Privacy (FIP).
Obtaining this International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP) designation demonstrates Yvonne’s commitment to the Privacy profession and recognises her 18 years of Privacy expertise in the UK and Australia.
Yvonne is currently only one of five Australians to hold the designation.
FIP prerequisites are to hold two IAPP certifications, Yvonne holds:
- Certified Information Privacy Manager (CIPM) and
- Certified Information Privacy Practitioner/Europe (CIPP/E), specialising in General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR).
Amongst other requirements, two exams need to be passed, and three years of documented work experience needs to be demonstrated through references.
Yvonne’s goal is to maintain an active presence in the field of Privacy management and be an advocate for change in Australia.
